Project Partner Information

Lafayette Adult Resource Academy (LARA) helps individuals of any race, color or creed to achieve their personal and academic potential. By sending into the community persons with stronger self-esteem and increased basic skills, LARA contributes to the community's atmosphere, structure, and quality of life. LARA believes that by fostering educational and personal changes within individuals, it can bring about some changes in the cities, states, and countries in which the individuals live. By honoring the worth of learners, trusting in their ability to make positive changes in their lives, and giving them the opportunity to gain perceived goals, LARA increases learners' changes for fuller lives and returns those learners to a community in which they can exercise their new skills for the benefit of others.
