Team Values

We the team members of LARA promise to conduct all team activities based on the following team values:

  • Communication Definition: The effective and efficient sharing of information through a variety means/modalities, meeting the needs of all parties involved in the sharing of that information. Behaviors:
    • All members of the team will read their email daily and reply to team communications within 24 hours of receiving the email.
    • All urgent requests by email receive an immediate response.
    • All members will post discussion question related to projects on the team blog. Team members will check the blog once a day.
  • Responsibility Definition: Every person has a defined objective and is accountable for that particular responsibility. Behaviors:
    • All team members are to complete their respective given tasks by the due date.
    • All team members are expected to take responsibility for their actions.
  • Trust and have fun! Definition: Taking an interest at what you are doing, and automatically the work at hand becomes fun to do. Behaviors:
    • All members having a social event will help build up team trust.
    • Pick projects that are interesting to you and have fun working on it!
